This is for the PATTERN ONLY. 1683 was the first year that Germans started immigrating to Pennsylvania, where they created their distinctive ink and watercolor art known as Fraktur. Plum Street Samplers designer Paulette Stewart has captured the beauty in her pattern called Autumn Fraktur. Featured are two symmetrical birds with a central potted vine. Just gorgeous! Sample was stitched on 36 ct linen and finished stitch count in 239w x 107h. The chart calls for Gentle Art floss but a conversion to DMC floss has been provided on the chart in parentheses.
