Counted Cross Stitch Pattern, Reading by the Window, Victorian Reproduction, Harbor, Charles James Lewis, Cross Stitch Studio, Pattern Only
Counted Cross Stitch Pattern, Reading by the Window. "Reading by the Window" is a full coverage counted cross stitch pattern adapted from a Victorian painting by artist Charles James Lewis. This soothing image depicts a young woman with her trusty companion spending a leisurely afternoon reading in a cozy wood-paneled window seat overlooking the sailboats in the harbor. It's easy to get lost in the scene which evokes a slower, more genteel time. This generously-sized heirloom quality project will provide you with hours of enjoyment, both during the stitching process and long after it's been framed for display. Stitched on evenweave fabric using DMC floss 2 over 1. Stitch count is 649 x 869 and will measure approximately 46.38" x 62.07" on 14 ct. Designed by The Cross Stitch Studio and includes full color cover, large format chart, instructions and material list (124 pages in all!). Chart may be printed in black and white or color. Choose your preference from the drop down box. (Need a price quote for a kit? Contact me. I would love to discuss your options with you!)
The chart contains 120 DMC colors. (Smaller, cropped version is available. Contact me for more information.)
