Cross Stitch Pattern, Elizabeth Baker 1844, Cross Stitch Sampler, Antique Reproduction, Patriotic, Americana, Pineberry Lane Pattern Only
This is for the PATTERN ONLY.
Cross Stitch pattern, Elizabeth Baker 1844. Worked entirely in cross stitch, Elizabeth Baker’s sampler is wonderfully patriotic with its red, white, and blue color palette. Miss Baker stitched a poignant verse at the top of her sampler, then filled the bottom with a joyous array of motifs including potted flowers, a basket of fruit, fir trees, a bird and a spotted dog. The whole is surrounded by a cheerful border of red flowers. But the star of this sampler is the blue Elizabeth chose to use for some of her flowers and baskets ~ wonderful! The reproduction is stitched on 36 count Lakeside Linen’s Vintage Light Exemplar with a combination of The Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works threads. A conversion to DMC is included but will not yield a similar result as the overdyed threads.
Stitch count: 202w x 233h
Stitched size: 11.25"w x 13"h
Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors and optional instructions for aging and hemming your sampler.
