Counted Cross Stitch pattern, Eliza Brown, an antique reproduction adaptation by Wendy of From the Heart NeedleArt. All we know about the girl who stitched this beautiful sampler is her name. The sweet verse is one Wendy hadn’t seen before. She has chosen not to stitch the over one verse on the model, but it is charted, and you can stitch it if you would like, starting with row 32, the top of the green and pink vine and flowers band.
Stitch counts are given both ways so you can easily calculate the size of your piece. The silk version closely follows the antique with its ghost letters and lighter colors. If you want a brighter piece the Weeks Dye Works colors as shown in the pin keep are a great choice.
Model for larger sampler stitched 1 over 2 on 40ct Baked Clay linen using Gloriana Silks.
