Tan of Cottage Garden Samplings will make a great addition to your Christmas decor as well as a great gift! Each design represents the gifts of the famous carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas".
Each pattern includes stitch chart, instructions, floss color list, and material list.

Day 1-A Partridge In A Pear Tree: Model stitched 2 over 2 on 28ct Cashel Vintage Country Mocha linen with DMC and Crescent Colour (Grasshopper) floss. Alternative fabric 28 count Cashel Willow Green linen. Stitch count: 95W x 106H.
Day 2-Two Turtle Doves: Model stitched 1over 2 on 35ct Northern Cross Tea linen with DMC flosses, DMC Colour Variations Floss (4030 Monet's Garden) or Sampler Threads (Peacock) or Crescent Colour (Caribbean Waters). Alternative fabric 35 count Straw Weeks Dye Works linen.
Stitched count: 113W x 96H.
Day 3-Three French Hens: Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32ct Star Sapphire linen with DMC and Crescent Colour (Green Onion) floss.
Alternative fabric 32 count Twilight Blue/Smoky Pearl linen. Stitch count: 81W x 113H.
Day 4-Four Colly Birds: Model stitched 1 over 2 on 36ct White Edinburgh Linen with DMC, Gentle Art (Cinders, Deep Sea, Spring Grass) and
Crescent Colours (Grasshopper) floss. Alternative fabric 40 count White Linen. Stitch count: 84W x 71H.
Day 5-Five Golden Rings: Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32ct French Lace linen with DMC and Gentle Art (Heirloom Gold, Chamomile, Roasted Marshmallow). Beads #00557 and #02011 from Mill Hill (NOT Included). Alternative fabric 32 count Antique White Belfast Linen.

Day 6-Six Geese A-Laying: Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32ct Lambswool linen with DMC, Gentle Art (Fudge Ripple, Pineapple Sherbet, Pomegranate) and Weeks Dye Works (Celadon and Graphite). Stitch count: 60W x 85H.
Day 7-Seven Swans A-Swimming: Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32ct Stone Grey Belfast linen with Weeks Dye Works (Azaleas, Emma's Pink, Envy, Galvanized, Graphite, Grits, Island Breeze, Onyx, Pumpkin, Squash, Turkish Red and Turquoise). Stitch count: 99W x 110H.
Day 8-Eight Maids A-Milking: Model stitched on 32ct Water Lily Linen with Gentle Art Sampler Threads: Baby Spinach (2 skeins), Black Licorice, Buttermilk, Cidermill Brown, Cottage Blue, Faded Rose, Pecan Pie, Pineapple Sherbet (2 skeins) and Soot. Stitch count: 172W x 107H.
Day 9-Nine Ladies Dancing: Model stitched on 32ct French-Lace Linen with Gentle Art Sampler Threads: Acorn, Clover, Cornhusk, Daisy, Deep Sea, Heirloom Gold, Mountain Mist, Mulberry, Old Blue Paint, Peach Ice Cream and Verdigris. Stitch count: 145W x 145H.
Day 10-Ten Lords A-Leaping: Model stitched on 36ct Country Mocha Edinburgh Linen with DMC and Gentle Art: Loganberry, Piney Woods and Antique Rose. Stitch count: 140W x 106H.
Day 11-Eleven Pipers Piping: Model stitched on 36ct Country Mocha Edinburgh Linen with DMC and Gentle Art: Country Redwood, Forest Glade and Tarnished Gold. Stitch count: 153W x 71H.
